Maeklong Railway Market (Maeklong Market)
Maeklong Railway Market, also known as Maeklong Market, is one of the most famous attractions in Samut Songkhram Province. The market is located along the railway tracks next to Maeklong Railway Station. Its unique feature is the shops and stalls set up right alongside the railway tracks. When a train is approaching, vendors quickly retract their umbrellas and move their goods away from the tracks. Once the train has passed, they reopen their umbrellas and continue selling as usual.
