วัดเพชรสมุทรวรวิหาร (Wat Phet Samut Worawihan)

Wat Phet Samut Worawihan is a temple once called “Wat Ban Laem” which once was a small temple and has played a significant role in Thai historical migration. The temple is located near Maeklong Railway Market. It was later awarded to the status of royal temple, and renamed to “Wat Phet Samut Worawihan”. The temple expanded and became nationwide-respected temple where the Buddhist gather to make merit, and pay homage to the remaining Buddha images. In the temple compound, there is a monk museum, exhibiting Buddha images, amulets from various periods, artifacts, antiques, and a pulpit from the Ayutthaya period.

In the evening, there are several Thai food stalls on the road in front of the temple where you can have dinner. Parking area is just across the temple.
