Baan Siriporn Resort offers complimentary Wi-Fi internet access to our guests. Simply connect to the Wireless SSID . @BaanSiriporn Wi-Fi, and login with your internet username & password which can be found on the voucher given to you at check-in. You can enjoy surfing the internet with unlimited devices until your check-out time. Wi-Fi coverage is resort public area, and all guest rooms.

However, the speed of internet depends on the technical limitations of your devices, and the number of simultaneous users.

Breakfast

We serve breakfast to our guests at Siriporn Kitchen which opens for breakfast only. Breakfast time is from 07.00 AM until 10.00 AM. Our delicious Thai breakfast is Rice Soup with meat (pork or assorted seafood) which is our Thai Signature Dish, and fried egg. Moreover, you can grab some toasts, beverages (drinking water, coffee, tea, chocolate malt), and seasonal fruit from the self-service corner. If you would like to have a continental breakfast, please inform our staff at check-in.

If your room reservation is Room Only rate (breakfast excluded), you can pay breakfast fee from 150 Thai Baht per person per meal to have your breakfast at Siriporn Kitchen.

Amphawa Boat Tour private boat ride to temples, Amphawa Floating Market & Fireflies Cruise

Baan Siriporn Resort provides Amphawa Boat Tour to visit temples, Amphawa Floating Market and Amphawa Fireflies Watching with our private charter boat 15-40 passengers per boat. Our service is good for families, group of travellers, or those who want to take a private boat ride. Begin your fascinating trip by sailing along the famous Maeklong River to see a traditional life of folks on the both sides of the river. You may visit various temples along the way to see Thai architectures, arts and cultures. You can also visit the popular Amphawa Floating Market – the second most popular floating market near Bangkok. We also provide a night cruise to watch fireflies swarming in the cork trees along the canal bank.

This service is not included in any room rate. Everyone is welcome to use this service as a one-day trip even you are not staying at our resort. The boat will pick you up from Baan Siriporn Resort, and will drop you back here when the tour is over. Complimentary self-parking is provided.

If there is just 2 of us, can we get the boat tour?

Yes, if you really want to take the private boat ride, you are welcome to book the tour with us. However, since the smallest boat has 15 seats, you have to pay full service fee like you accommodate full capacity of the boat. If our private boat charter is too expensive for you, we recommend you to travel to the Amphawa floating market by yourself, and join the boat tour with other travellers at the market which will be cheaper.

Recreational fishing by the Maeklong river

For those who are looking for Amphawa fishing resort. Fishing vacation during a holiday near Bangkok, Baan Siriporn Resort Samut Songkhram is the answer. Our guests have to bring their own fishing equipment, fishing bait and portable cooler. We don’t have any fishing equipment for rent or borrow. Go fishing by the pier any time you want. This river contains species that live in the brackish water.

Baan Siriporn Resort is set on the bank of the Maeklong river. Recreational fishing is allowed. The river begins at the confluence of the Khwae Noi River and the Khwae Yai River in Kanchanaburi Province, it passes Ratchaburi Province and empties into the Gulf of Thailand here in Samut Songkhram Province.

If you want to bring fish home with you, please put in your own cooler. Don’t put fish in our refrigerator, because it will make the fridge stink, and it will be difficult for us to get rid of the bad smells before the next guests arrive at our resort.

Alms offering to the monks

Alms offering to the monks is one of the traditions that Buddhists have been practicing since the Buddhist era. If you travel in a big city like Bangkok, it’s very difficult to see such tradition so often.

Alms offering to the monks by the river is also a traditional lifestyle of the villages living along the Maeklong river which nowadays can still be found in Amphawa and Samut Songkhram. By staying at Baan Siriporn Resort, you can join the daily alms-giving ceremony at the riverfront pier which is the most popular activity of our guests.

If you want to join the ceremony, please set your alarm clock, and be ready at the pier by 06.00 AM. A monk will arrive at our pier by a rowboat. Some more monks will also arrive at the road on foot. You can watch other guests do the alms offering. If you wish to do the alms offering by yourself, please inform our staff by 09.30 PM of the day before for food preparation (surcharge).

Monk usually arrives daily in the morning. However, he may not be able to come due to ecclesiastical mission or weather condition without prior notice. In this case, you can do the alms offering to monks who walking on the road instead.
