We are pleased to welcome you to the Samut Songkhram Pomelo Festival during August 5-7, 2016 at the Samut Songkhram provincial hall. You can try and buy the famous “Khao Yai” pomelo from the local farmers, and local products from several stores at best price.
Thais are going to launch their krathong on a river, canal or a pond, making a wish as they do so. The krathongs are made of the trunk of a banana tree. The festival may originate from an ancient ritual paying respect to the water spirits. The local event will take place at King Rama II Memorial Park, Samut Songkhram on November 25, 2015.
